How-to create a Task

There are actually two ways to create a task. The first thing you’ll want to do is determine if you want task notifications on; so in order to do that, you’ll go to settings down at the lower right. Select push notifications. And then toggle on task notifications. Here you’ll be able to set three different reminders, if you choose. You only have to select one if you want. There are several options to choose from.. Then click the arrow at the top left, go back to the home screen. Now the first way to create a task is select to-do at the bottom menu bar, then click create new task. You’ll wanna add a task description, such as “call client” if this is in regards to a specific account or prospect, click the account to select which one. Then you select the date that the task is due on and the time (how long the task will take). Lastly, you can choose if you want to add it to your calendar within the app. Once you have all of the proper information filled out, click save and your task is now created. Returning through the homescreen, the other way to create a task is directly through the account, we will go to our account list, select account, select task, create new task, again enter a task description. Since you created it through the account, that’s already pre-populated. Select your day and time again. Add to calendar and save. Now you’ll notice there is an orange exclamation point, this means that the task is still open and not completed and if you click on the task you can see that as well. Once you actually have completed the task, there are a couple ways to close it out and complete it. From here you can select the three dots in the upper right hand corner and simply hit complete task or from the to-do list you can swipe right to complete the task or you can swipe left to either view it on the calendar or go in to complete the task and if you click on completed, you’ll now see our task is now showing completed.
